What we've built
Built in the open.
A plain-language record of what's inside Greenroom and what we add as we go — what it does, and how we keep your practice private.
Version 1.0
June 2026Ready for pilot — the first version faculty can really use, built and tested end to end.
What we built
- A private place to rehearse the hard conversations in teaching — with a practice partner who responds like a real student, and specific, encouraging coaching right afterward.
- Make it your own: turn a real situation you're facing into a rehearsal, choose which student you practice with, and practice in writing as well as out loud.
- Stay on track: gentle reminders timed to your term, a simple picture of your growth over time, and an optional way to help our research — all yours to turn on or off.
Trust & safety
- Your practice is private. Your rehearsals and reflections are encrypted, so no one at Greenroom — not even the founder — can read them.
- We never collect student information. We don't ask for it, and we automatically remove names, emails, and ID numbers if they ever slip into something you type.
- Your data is yours. Nothing is shared with your college, nothing is sold, and you can export or delete it whenever you want.
